About the Chord Approach

Mrs. Terry Maddock has enjoyed a love of music and the piano her entire life. She first served as church pianist at the age of 14 and served in that role for 25 years.

Terry taught traditional piano lessons for over 15 years. During that time, she was continually searching for a more appropriate means of teaching adults. She found it in the Chord Approach Method.

For an additional 15 years, Mrs. Maddock taught Chord Approach piano workshops at more than 70 colleges, universities, and school districts across Texas and Oklahoma.

In her "spare time" Terry enjoys spending time with her 4 grandbabies and 3 dogs. She is the faithful wife of 40 years to the "nerd" who developed this web page.
